Ten eager teachers from local ACT Schools learnt how to create a digital story using readily available, free software (Photo Story 3 and Windows Movie Maker).

Caryl Oliver, Manager of Travel and Tourism and the Mobile Learning Project at William Angliss TAFE in Victoria, conducted the practical workshop, firstly demonstrating some examples of digital stories, claiming that by the end of the day, participants would be able to produce their own digital stories of the same high-standard. Not to be disappointed, participants left the workshop with a copy of their own digital story on CD that they had worked on during the workshop, confident in their newfound knowledge to create digital stories for use in the classroom the very next day!
