Strong demand for ACT LearnScope in 2007
LearnScope applications maintained a strong demand again this year, with 40 applications from the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT), private registered training organisations (RTOs), VET in Schools and individuals. Overall, the quality of applications has improved with additional focus on client outcomes and piloting e-learning with client groups. The number and quality of individual applications was also pleasing.
Of the 40 applications, Thirty-eight applications were successful. One major project and 25 training innovation project applications
came from individuals, seven team projects came from CIT, six team projects from private RTOs and one team project from VET
in School.
In addition, four start-up groups will begin this year, including three start-up groups for VET in Schools and one combined
start-up group for staff from local RTOs and CIT.
Find further details below under 2007 ACT LearnScope projects.
