2005 ACT e-learning showcase

The e-learning event of the year for the ACT was hosted in Canberra. The successful one-day e-learning and LearnScope showcase
at the Canberra Institute of Technology's Reid Campus, attracted 145 teachers and trainers! The event had something for everyone,
from e-learning novices to those wishing to be inspired by the advanced practices of some ACT teachers.
The day commenced with Clint Smith's lively demonstration of the Designing e-learning interactive website which was continued
as a practical session throughout the day.
Vanessa Tuckfield presented on of the latest Framework product Copyright Kitchen.
This was followed by a series of concurrent sessions which enabled the 2005 ACT LearnScope Start-up Groups and Teams to report
on how private providers, VET in Schools and CIT are using e-learning. These breakout sessions were run in the SMARTboard
(touch sensitive electronic whiteboards) classrooms and computer labs.
CIT Team presentations.
A DVD presentation of the CIT Innovative Projects was followed by a tradeshow of these projects.
The day also included a variety of Toolbox and Toolbox specific sessions (including the TAA Toolbox's new extra features such
as the RPL Kit) which were facilitated by Josh Smith and supported by the ACT Toolbox Champion Team.
