What is LearnScope?
LearnScope is a project of the Australian Flexible Learning Framework (Framework). Since its inception in 1998, LearnScope has been part of a national strategy to increase the capacity of vocational education and training (VET) professionals to use flexible learning approaches and new technologies in the delivery of training. This is achieved by offering funding grants for professional development, organising workshops and other events, facilitating state-based programs, publishing a regular newsletter and offering individual suggestions and support for all VET providers who need asssistance to offer e-learning options for their clients/students.

Funded Projects
There is a lot happening in LearnScope in South Australia at the moment as all the teams and mini-projects are
finishing off their projects. If you go to the SA LearnScope Communication website, scroll down to the second 'box' to see where the LearnScope Teams & Mini-Projects
are posting messages relating to what is happening with their projects.
What to do to find out more about e-Learning in SA....
If you, your program area and/or organisation is either implementing e-Learning or has future plans to do so,
it will be important for you to "stay in the loop" and keep abreast of trends, funding, activities, events and opportunities. So,
what can you do....
- Bookmark the SA LearnScope Communication website so that you can visit regularly.
- Subscribe to the South Australian e-Learning Newsletter. This Newsletter will keep you up to date with information,
tips, ideas and events related to e-Learning including anything specifically of interest to South Australian
VET providers. To get onto the mailing list, send an email with SUBSCRIBE in the subject line to the SA State Manager for
LearnScope (Marlene Manto) - email adress above on the left.
- Attend Flexible Learning events and workshops, and join in local elearning activities. Want to be advised when
these are on? Get you name on the mailing list (see above) and you will receive notification.
- And finally...feel free to call the SA State Manager for LearnScope (Marlene Manto) to discuss e-Learning for your organisation, your program area, or for YOU. (Contact details are above on the left).
